Kasim’s Monstrous Mulled Wine recipe!

  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1 tbs cardamom pods
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 1 large orange, quartered
  • additional orange wedges, cinnamon sticks


  1. Peel apples then slice in half. Put apples in a large bowl filled with cool water and a splash of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. Carve out eyes using a scooper. Create nose and mouth using a small paring knife. Get creative with expressions!
  2. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place halved apples on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until apples are dry and begin to brown around the edges. Set aside and allow to cool.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine water, cardamom pods, whole cloves and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low and simmer. Squeeze the juice from the orange quarters into the simmering water.
  4. Pour in Sweet Shiraz and heat until steaming for 10 minutes. Remove the remaining cardamom pods, whole cloves and cinnamon stick. Pour into mugs, garnish with a cinnamon stick, orange wedge / piece and apple skull.

Holiday Cherry Bombs

PREP TIME: 15 minutes 
SERVINGS: Jar of Cherries

Cherries with stems
Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz
1 cup white chocolate chips
red, white, and green sanding sugar

1. Soak cherries in Sweet Shiraz for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
2. Remove cherries and pat dry with a paper towel.
3. Heat chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
3. Dip each cherry two-thirds of the way into the melted white chocolate, twisting it slightly to help the chocolate stick.
4. Dip the cherry in red, green, or white sanding sugar, coating it halfway up the white chocolate coating.
5. Chill in fridge 20 minutes before serving.

Cinnamon & Sugar Margarita

PREP TIME: 15 minutes 
SERVINGS: 2 glasses

1 cup Jam Jar Sweet White
1 cup apple cider
½ cup Tres Agaves Blanco tequila
splash of lime juice in a shaker with ice 

1. Shake well, and strain into a glass.
2. Sprinkle a touch of cinnamon sugar, and garnish with a crisp apple slice.

Peppermint Shiraz Whip

PREP TIME: 15 minutes 
SERVINGS: 1 pitcher


1 cup Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz
1 cup Whipped Vodka
2 cup Cherry 7-up
6 Peppermint candy canes
1 bag Melting White Chocolate

1. In a punch bowl mix together the wine, vodka, and 7-up.
2. Crush the candy canes up and spread evenly on a plate.
2. In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate until smooth.  Dip the rim of each cocktail glass into the chocolate and then roll the chocolate rim over the crushed candy canes until all is covered evenly.
3. Pour cocktail mixture into glasses, serve over ice.

Sweet Winter White

PREP TIME: 5 minutes
SERVINGS: 1 pitcher

1 bottle Jam Jar Sweet White
1 cup clear grapefruit flavored vodka
1½ cups club soda
Lime juice to taste

Mix all ingredients together and pour over ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Sweet Shiraz Mulled Wine

PREP TIME: 20 minutes
SERVINGS: 6 to 8

1 bottle of Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz
½ cup water
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground ginger
4 whole star anise
1 large orange, quartered
8 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
Additional cinnamon sticks for garnish

In a medium saucepan, combine water, nutmeg, ginger, star anise and 1 cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low and simmer. Squeeze the juice from the orange quarters into the simmering water. Push 2 cloves into each orange quarter and place in simmering water for 5 minutes, then remove orange/cloves.

Pour in Sweet Shiraz and heat until steaming for 10 minutes. Remove the remaining star anise and cinnamon stick. Pour into mugs and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Darling Plum Thyme

PREP TIME: 15 minutes
SERVINGS: 2 small glasses

· 4 oz Jam Jar Sweet White
· 4 tbsp thyme simple syrup
· 1 tbsp lemon juice
· 3 plums
· 6 thyme sprigs 
· 1 tbsp lemon juice
· sparkling water

1. Peel and chop 2 plums. Muddle the plums with the thyme simple syrup and lemon juice until all of the plum juices have been released. (You can muddle right in the glass if you prefer to have bits of fruits in your cocktails!)

2. Shake with ice in a cocktail shaker.

3. Pour over ice (preferably crushed) evenly between two glasses.

4. Top off with Jam Jar Sweet White and garnish with extra plum slices and thyme sprigs. Serve immediately!

Old School Jam

PREP TIME:  15 minutes
SERVINGS: 1 cocktail glass


  • 3 oz Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz
  • 1½ oz apple brandy
  • ½ oz gin
  • ½ oz maple syrup
  • 2 dashes bitters
  • thin apple slices and cinnamon stick for garnish

1. Combine all ingredients except garnishes into a mixing glass and fill with ice.

2.  Stir and strain into a cocktail glass.

3. Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon stick. Enjoy!

Sugar Spice, Red Hot Nice

PREP TIME: 15 minutes


  • 1½ oz Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz
  • 1 oz apple brandy
  • ½ oz cinnamon simple syrup
  • ¼ oz lemon juice
  • 3 oz water
  • thin apple slices and cinnamon stick, for garnish


  1. Mix all the ingredients to a small saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat until hot.
  3. Pour into a thick-walled mug. Garnish with an apple slice and a cinnamon stick!

PREP TIME: 5  minutes SERVINGS: 1 Cocktail INGREDIENTS: 3 oz. ginger beer 3 oz. Jam Jar Sweet White 1 oz. vodka 1 lime Mint sprigs DIRECTIONS: 1. Fill your favorite cooper mug or glass with ice. 2.Pour in Jam Jar Sweet White, ginger beer, and vodka. 3. Squeeze in the lime juice, stir lightly. 4. Garnish with a lime slice and mint!
