Holiday Cherry Bombs

PREP TIME: 15 minutes 
SERVINGS: Jar of Cherries

INGREDIENTS:
Cherries with stems
Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz
1 cup white chocolate chips
red, white, and green sanding sugar

DIRECTIONS:
1. Soak cherries in Sweet Shiraz for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
2. Remove cherries and pat dry with a paper towel.
3. Heat chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted.
3. Dip each cherry two-thirds of the way into the melted white chocolate, twisting it slightly to help the chocolate stick.
4. Dip the cherry in red, green, or white sanding sugar, coating it halfway up the white chocolate coating.
5. Chill in fridge 20 minutes before serving.

Cinnamon & Sugar Margarita

PREP TIME: 15 minutes 
SERVINGS: 2 glasses

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Jam Jar Sweet White
1 cup apple cider
½ cup Tres Agaves Blanco tequila
splash of lime juice in a shaker with ice 

DIRECTIONS:
1. Shake well, and strain into a glass.
2. Sprinkle a touch of cinnamon sugar, and garnish with a crisp apple slice.

Peppermint Shiraz Whip

PREP TIME: 15 minutes 
SERVINGS: 1 pitcher

INGREDIENTS: 

INGREDIENTS: 
1 cup Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz
1 cup Whipped Vodka
2 cup Cherry 7-up
Cranberries for garnish, optional

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a punch bowl or large pitcher filled with ice, combine all of the ingredients.
2. Stir well. Serve over ice and garnish with cranberries.

When Jam Jar launched back in 2009 there were not a lot of options for quality sweet wines. We wholeheartedly believed that anyone who likes their wines on the sweeter side deserved to have a delicious and well-crafted option. We wanted to give our fans something they can enjoy and proudly share with the world. Jam Jar is not just another wine brand, it’s become a movement, a “feeling”—one that has become evident in our rampant, dedicated fan base. We’ve witnessed the explosive reactions when customers try Jam Jar for the first time. They’re excited and eager to share their discovery with their circles. It’s become a word of mouth thing. “Have you heard of this?” “Have you tasted this?” “It’s different, and it’s not like any other sweet wine I’ve had before.” We’ve become part of fan families, been the inspiration behind Jam Jar crafts, push presents, cakes and even Halloween costumes. “The Jam Jar Feeling” campaign is inspired by these sentiments. PREP TIME: 15 minutes
SERVINGS: 1 pitcher

INGREDIENTS: 
2½ cups Jam Jar Sweet White
2½ cups frozen raspberries
2½ cups frozen blueberries
2½ cups ice

DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine the raspberries and ¾ cup of Sweet White in a blender. Blend until it reaches a slushie consistency and pour into your 4 glasses.
2. Rinse out the blender and add ice along with another ¾ cup of Sweet White, blending until you reach a slushie consistency. Carefully add to the 4 glasses and spread evenly over the raspberry layer with a spoon.
3. Rinse out the blender for a final time and add the blueberries and remaining ¾ cup of Sweet White. Blend to a slushie consistency and carefully add it to the glasses on top of the last layer.
4. Serve immediately!

Jammy Berry Pie

Jammy Berry Pie

PREP TIME: 3 hours
SERVINGS: 1 pie 

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups frozen blueberries
3 cups frozen cherries
½ cup Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz
2 frozen pie shells, thawed
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg 
1 tsp fresh rosemary, minced
1 cup sugar
1⁄4 cup brown sugar​
1⁄4 tsp salt
​1 tsp vanilla extract 
​2 tbsp lemon juice
​3 tbsp melted butter
1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
​1 egg, beaten 

DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine cherries, blueberries and Jam Jar wine in a large saute pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes-1 hour. Wine will have reduce down and become syrupy. Preheat oven to 375°

2. Combine all dry ingredients (cinnamon through salt) in a large bowl and mix well. Add vanilla, lemon juice and the berry/wine mixture stirring well until blended. Add the butter, then the flour and mix well. Pour the filling into the pie shell, then add the second pie shell on top. Tuck the top crust underneath the edges of the bottom crust, and pinch to seal. Cut at least 3 slits into the top of the pie to allow air to escape, then brush with beaten egg wash. 

3. Bake for 30 minutes, then loosely cover the pie with tin foil. Bake another 30-45 minutes until crust is golden and berries are bubbling through. Remove from oven and let rest for at least 1 hour. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
